Way to go Nicole!!!!
These four Kings Pointers were part of the project team that undocked the USS New York (LPD-21) on Sept. 11, 2021 – 18 days ahead of schedule. The combined Navy and General Dynamics (GD) NASSCO-Norfolk team worked together to achieve this ambitious goal to honor the 20th anniversary of 9/11. The USS New York’s bow was forged from seven and a half tons of steel salvaged from the collapsed World Trade Center.
