Limited shop time, plus my being really bad at social media, means it's been quite awhile since I've posted. But I'm currently working on a 2 piece set of Hammer-Hawks.

Just did the finish grind, and blued the heads. Next up, handle fitting/finishing!

You are bidding on Stone Raven #3.

This is third in the line of limited edition tomahawks. It is forged from a ballpeen hammer, with a curly maple handle. It has a skull motif forged into the poll, with fire opals set into the skulls eyes.

It comes in a custom wooden crate, with a display stand, that bolts to the crate lid, with a matching wrench for assembly and disassembly.

**Stone Raven Auction details!**

The auction will begin tomorrow (Feb 1st). I will put up an official auction post on the Eagle Eye Forge FB page, all bidding will take place in the comments on that post. (When looking at the comments, make sure to click the all comments option, so you can see everything).

It will begin at 10 am, when the post goes live, and end at midnight.

Bidding will start at $700, and increase by $10 minimum bids.

I understand not everyone has ready cash for a drop like this, so if needed, we can set up a payment plan, however a deposit will be required. Just message with questions.

Stone Raven #3 auction info!

This piece will be up for Auction next Saturday (Feb 1st). The auction will go live on my FB page, at 10am (EST) and run till 12pm (midnight).

On Friday I'll put out a post with all necessary details, etc. Don't forget, just like last year, there will also be a consolation prize for the second place bidder, consisting of a leather patched hat, and a wrench steak flipper.

I'd been playing with the idea of adding a pop of color to a Stone Raven, but somehow still keep the black, gritty, aesthetic I'd developed their style around.

I finally landed on the thought of gemstones as eyes. I decided to go with orange, as red felt overplayed to me. After a long search for gemstones that were a true bright orange, the fire opals were decided on.

I added orange stitching to the mask and wraps on the feathers to carry that touch of color through the piece.

Stone Raven #3. - Stay tuned for the auction announcement!

Forged from a carbon steel ball peen hammer, Stone Raven #3 has Ethiopian fire opals set into the forged skull pommel.

The custom forged and ground head is fitted to a black dyed curly maple handle and covered with a custom leather mask, then finished up with black leather tassels and Raven feathers.

The whole package is wrapped up with a custom wooden crate, its own display stand, and custom wrench.
