📣 ANNUAL MEETING UPDATE & ELECTION REMINDER
Our Kingman Knockouts Annual Meeting is tomorrow, September 9th at 6:30 PM, and we now have the meeting location confirmed:
📍 Elks Lodge
900 Gates Ave, Kingman, AZ 86401
This meeting will include elections for several board positions across Kingman Knockouts, Turquoise Kings Baseball, Turquoise Queens Softball, and Turquoise Queens Volleyball.
If you have been thinking about getting more involved, helping shape the future of the program, or simply learning more about what is happening behind the scenes, this is a great meeting to attend.
Our program continues to grow, and strong involvement from parents, coaches, volunteers, and community members is a big part of what keeps that growth moving in the right direction.
We hope to see a great turnout tomorrow night.

Wednesday night is the perfect night to skip cooking and grab a delicious meal out! You should definitely swing by for our special community event to support the local Turquoise Kings 12u travel ball team. We will be hanging out at the local spot in Kingman from 5pm to 8pm on 9/9 and would love to see all of your friendly faces there. It is the best way to enjoy a tasty burger while cheering on our rising stars. Let’s make this a record-breaking night for the players and their families! I really hope to catch you all there for some good food and even better company.

THE KINGS ARE CROWNED IN LAS VEGAS! 🏆🔥

What a weekend for the Turquoise Kings 12U! The boys battled their way through the Kings Tournament in Las Vegas and came out on top — CHAMPIONS! 🏆👑
The Kings finished the weekend 3–1, bringing big bats, aggressive baserunning, great teamwork, and plenty of heart.
🔥 28 runs scored
🔥 24 hits & 25 RBIs
🔥 6 doubles & 2 home runs
🔥 29-for-29 on stolen bases
🔥 .541 team on-base percentage

👑 PLAYER SPOTLIGHTS

👑 LOGAN SHIPTON #2 — BIG WEEKEND, BIG FINISH

Logan had a monster weekend, batting .625 with 5 hits, 2 doubles, 2 HOME RUNS, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. He also went a perfect 6-for-6 stealing bases, finishing with a 2.325 OPS. 💣💣

But his weekend wasn't finished at the plate.

With the championship on the line, Logan took the mound and pitched the final pitches of the tournament to close out the victory and seal the championship for the Kings! 👑⚾

Mason Dewitt #17 hit .571, collecting 4 hits, driving in 3 runs, scoring 5 times, drawing 4 walks, and stealing 4 bases.

John Hulsey #23 hit .400, reached base at a .700 clip, scored 4 runs, drew 4 walks, and stole 2 bases.

Wyatt Gifford #8 hit .375 with 3 hits, including a double, while adding an RBI.

Cooper Mathys #29 drove in an impressive 6 runs, tied for second on the team, while collecting 3 hits including a double.

Henry Caspe #9 knocked 2 doubles, drove in 2, and scored 2 runs.

And the Kings were absolutely FLYING on the bases: Logan Shipton and Clayshaw Castro led the team with 6 steals each, Calem Wertz added 5, Mason Dewitt had 4, Henry Caspe and John Hulsey had 2 each, with Wyatt Gifford, Gage Dexter, Logan Nuessle and Mason Langford adding one apiece.

From top to bottom, everyone contributed when it mattered. The boys competed, supported one another, and finished the weekend holding the hardware! 🏆

👑 THE KINGS 11u DOMINATED THE BACK 2 SCHOOL BASH! 👑

What a weekend for our 11U Turquoise Kings! These boys battled through four games, finished a perfect 4-0 and came home as TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS! 🏆⚾️

🔥 An exciting 11-10 walk-off championship win

From a commanding 20-0 victory to a championship game that came down to a nail biting final inning, this team earned this through teamwork, determination and refusing to quit when the pressure was on! We are so proud of these boys!

Our program continues to grow, and with that growth comes an opportunity for more great people in our community to get involved.

The Kingman Knockouts, Turquoise Kings Baseball, Turquoise Queens Softball, and Turquoise Queens Volleyball are built by volunteers who are willing to give their time, ideas, and effort to create something special for our athletes and families.

Several board positions will be up for election at our Annual Meeting on September 9th at 6:30 PM, and we would love to see some new faces step up and help us continue moving forward.

You do not have to be a coach or have years of board experience. If you care about youth sports, want to help strengthen our program, and are willing to be part of the work that goes into making these opportunities possible, we encourage you to get involved.

As our program grows, so does the need for people who are willing to help lead, organize, support, and bring new ideas to the table.

Thank you everyone that came to tryouts over the last two weeks! We had great turnout and are very excited for the upcoming season!! We will be meeting with all coaches over the weekend and getting with parents for what teams they made the following week so stay tuned!
Also, with such a great increase in players we are looking for coaching help in all ages. If you have already sent in an application to be a coach we are evaluating them and discussing them and will reach out soon. If you haven’t filled out an application yet and are interested in helping our youth in the community please message us and we will get the application to you. Thank you everyone!!

Today’s the day! Our second set of tryouts are tonight at 6pm at Southside field 6. So, if you are interested in getting involved with a team that focuses on individual development during practices and game opportunities as well as continually teaching elements of the game in a productive and developmental way then come on out and tryout for our travel or skills teams for ages 8u, 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u, 13u, and 14u!!

Reminder that our younger skills team will be a 6-8u team as well so any players turning 6 before May 1st 2027 come on out as well!
