Wheatbelt Aikido provides traditional martial arts training in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, “The Buckle of the Wheatbelt." The purpose of this group is to provide information and encourage interaction for:
1) Wheatbelt Aikido dojo members
2) Wheatbelt Aikido friends who are not actively training at the dojo
3) Members of the general community who are curious about the activities at Wheatbelt Aikido

Honoring the 89th birth anniversary of Somboon Tong-Aram Sensei
Pioneer of Aikido in Thailand (1937–2022)

Today (March 24), we remember his 89th birth anniversary.
His spirit and teachings remain with us.

"March 24th marks what would have been the 88th birthday of Somboon Sensei, the first Aikido teacher in Thailand. His dedication, wisdom, and passion for Aikido laid the foundation for generations of practitioners. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy continues to inspire us on and off the mat. Happy heavenly birthday, Sensei." 🙏🏻
