Our King City Pools staff recently held their End of Season banquet to celebrate jobs well done. What a great summer!

Awards were given for outstanding Pool staff members!

Rookie Lifeguard of the Year - Andrew Quiahua
Lifeguards of the Year - Valerie Zavala and Max Morales
Instructors of the Year - Noel Lara and Neida Nava
Aquatic Aide of the Year - Xavien Mendoza
Rookie Aide of the Year - Jacob Santiago

We've had a great summer season and are so proud of our entire staff. The King City Pools remain open for aqua aerobics and lap swimming during the week and lap swimming on Saturdays at noon. We are also open for Rec Swim Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

A long-standing tradition at the KCP is adding your initials in the pool office after FIVE years of service. This tradition goes back at least 25 years and there aren't as many initials on there as one might expect.

This year, adding their names to the Wall are Adilene Virgen and Mikah Valdez. Thank you for your five years of service at the KCP - we appreciate your dedication!

Our MVP Award is voted on by the entire KCP Staff. This season's MVP is Mikah Valdez. Mikah is a constant presence at the KCP, always going out of his way to help staff members and the public. He's a mentor to our younger staff members and a positive influence on everyone.
