The King City Pools open at 1 o'clock today for rec swim. But before you come, please make sure you have the appropriate swimwear. We don't allow basketball shirts or shorts, cotton T-shirts, or yoga clothing.

The reason why? Cotton fibers clog our delicate filtration system, and chemicals and laundry detergent affect our chemicals. Also streetwear makes you heavier and it's more difficult to swim.

Please help us keep the King City Pools sparkling clean! And if you have some extra swimsuits laying around that you'd like to donate, please bring them to the pool office. We'd love to have them!
