It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Green Bay Lightning coach Josh Wallace.
Josh was much more than a coach. He was a mentor, a leader, and a positive influence on countless young athletes throughout our club. His passion for the game and unwavering commitment to player development helped shape not only better soccer players, but better people.
Josh played a pivotal role in revitalizing the girls program at Green Bay Lightning. Through his dedication, energy, and belief in his players, he helped create opportunities, build confidence, and inspire a generation of young women to pursue their goals both on and off the field. The impact he made on our club and community will be felt for years to come.
To the many players, families, coaches, and friends whose lives were touched by Josh, we grieve alongside you. We are grateful for the time we shared with him, the memories he helped create, and the legacy he leaves behind.
Our thoughts and prayers are especially with his wife, Sarah, his daughters, Aaliyah and Ember, and the entire Wallace family during this incredibly difficult time. May they find strength, comfort, and peace in the love and support of the community that Josh helped build.
For those who would like to support Josh’s family during this difficult time, a fundraiser has been established on GoFundMe:

Josh’s passion, kindness, and commitment to our players will never be forgotten. His legacy will live on through every player he coached, every life he impacted, and every member of the Lightning family.
Rest in peace, Coach Josh. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
