It’s been a long while since Ive posted anything on this site. I thought I’d break the silence and share a bass jig made from fine cut silicone. You will recall that I build “custom” jigs. You tell me what you want in your bait and I’ll do my best to meet your expectations.

These jigs are weedless football jigs with 2/0 hooks. The bodies are made with fine cut silicone (hog hair). The hooks are either mustad 32798 or victory 11798 (v-loc). The size of the hooks depends on you & what the mold will accept. The colors of the silicone are dependent on what is currently available and are somewhat limited The number of silicone strands vary dependent on your needs. These two: the jig on the right has approximately 110 strands & the other about 74 strands. The silicone is layered around the head with 210 Denier thread. The final wrap is made with 24 ga craft wire

This is a weedless football jig designed to compliment the zoom green pumpkin goby plastic. The details of this jig:

3/8 oz football head painted & baked
The head is beveled to assist stand up
FG-30 green pumpkin fiber guard
Victory 3/0 with V-lock
96 strands of wire tied green pumpkin & purple medium silicone

You can pick variations in this jig to meet your needs; such as colors, hook size, number of silicon strands, etc.
