In lieau of our canceled gravel event, the Antelope Stampede, in Kimball Ne, tomorrow I will be leading a 78 mile groad ride (60%/40% pavement/gravel) beginning at 11:30 meeting in front of Nebraska Coffee at 103 S Chestnut. Kimball is only 90 minutes from FoCo and 60 min from Cheyenne - join us for a fun laid back ride!

The 2024 edition of the Antelope Stampede has been canceled due to a few factors, but the biggest of which is having such low preregistration numbers leading up to the event, only 2 weeks away. For those of you who have preregistered, we will issue a refund ASAP.

We are planning a 2025 edition on September 27th, and work is already underway for that event.

If anyone is still interested in riding that day in Kimball, NE, I am planning to do a 75 mile groad (road-gravel-road-gravel) ride after the Farmer's Day Parade celebration. Contact me via Messenger for details.

If anyone is doing the Gravel National Championships in Gering, NE, I am planning on having a support tent just past the midway point after the right turn onto pumpkin creek road. If you need support, want a feed bag or drop clothes, reach out to me beforehand and we can coordinate.

Its a later date this year.... September 28, 2024. It will coincide with the local Farmer's Day Celebration - parades, demolition derby, free food, live music and drinks!

This years Antelope Stampede will be held on September 28th, 2024 in conjuction with Kimball Nebraska's Weekend Farmers Day Celebration. Details are still solidifying, but start and finish will be held in the downtown area near the parade route. Also, there will be a kids bike race (for kindergarten~5th graders) held Friday evening during packet pick-up. If you have a young family, consider bringing the whole crew and enjoying the weekend. It will be packed with all kinds of small town activities (free pancake breakfast, parade, free hamburger feed, live music and more).

For those gravel racers who signed up for last years Robidoux Rendezvous and have not taken advantage of their entry deferral to 2024, you have until tomorrow night at midnight to claim that deferral! Search the email account you used for race registration for the deferral email - the link is inside that email. It was sent on or around 11/27/2023.
