What is SNAG?
SNAG is designed to make the fundamentals of golf easier to teach and learn. Using specially designed clubs, balls and targets, students can work on the basic skills of the game in a school setting — whether that’s a gym, field or other available space.
Through SNAG, students can learn:
⛳ Proper grip and setup
🎯 Aiming and alignment
🏌️ Putting, chipping and full-swing fundamentals
📚 Basic golf terminology and rules
🤝 Sportsmanship and golf etiquette
The Burns Foundation is able to provide SNAG kits for schools, putting the equipment and teaching tools right where students already are.
For many students, SNAG can be their first opportunity to experience golf and learn the fundamentals before ever stepping onto a golf course.
Starting New At Golf — SNAG.
It’s one of the ways we’re helping make golf education more accessible to students in our community. ⛳
