We love seeing all the Junior Golf leagues in town! Here’s one at Twin Pines in July. Turtle Point is going now. BlackBerry starts in August and Cypress will probably be having another one as well. Awesome all around!

It’s time for the biggest Junior Golf event in our area. The AJGA is coming back to town next week and we’ve got 4 local golfers qualified to compete!

Good luck Boone Thigpen, Zac Nelson, Luke Akins and Preston Greenhaw. We are proud of you for working hard enough to get in this event and wish you luck in competition!

Wishing the best of luck to Zac, Bennie, Luke, Will, Walker, and Maryanna as they head into Day 2 of the Blackberry Trail Alabama Junior Golf Tournament! ⛳️

After a strong first day of competition, we couldn’t be more proud of the effort, sportsmanship, and character each of these young golfers continue to show. Competitive golf is never easy, and the way they are carrying themselves while representing the game — and the Chris & Patricia Burns Junior Golf Foundation — speaks volumes.

Congratulations on making it this far and competing at a high level. Keep grinding, enjoy the experience, and know we’re all cheering you on today. We’re proud of each one of you!

No matter the skill level, we strongly encourage kids to play in the Fall League at Blackberry. There’s lots of us trying to help get Junior Golf back like it was 20 years ago. We want kids on the course everyday, all year…. This golf league at BlackBerry deserves tons of credit for getting kids back involved in golf.

They split up into teams and play scrambles to make it fun for all.

Great job City of Florence, AL- Parks & Recreation Department and David Dolan. You guys do a great job with it.
