Standards… who follows them? We do. Cutting corners and handing out certification cards like candy on Halloween does more harm than you realize. It creates divers with weak skills—divers who may put themselves, others, and the environment at risk.

Diver error remains the leading cause of accidents, and many of these incidents are preventable. The difference often comes down to choosing a dive center and instructor who hold you to a higher standard—who ensure you truly master the skills, rather than just complete the checklist.
