We had a rough start to our season but we are pressing on and getting ready for regionals! Kids’ got grit for sure and we are choosing to see the lessons in the struggle.

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!! Big thanks to the crew at Lake Sugar Tree Motorsports Park for a heartfelt celebration of Briggs Pullin and great weekend of racing!

Cedar and Zoey continue to push themselves and put down new PR lap times as they kept their sights on the AQ next weekend.

The battles were epic and we are seeing exactly what we hoped for in moving Cedar up in class and bike size! He’s at the bottom of the age group in all three classes but he is holding his own.

Our girl was all smiles after setting a new PR lap time in Supermini! She’s shaved off 7 seconds from her last race at LST in October. We are loving what we are seeing and are pumped for next weekend!

Bossola Racing has kicked off the 2026 race season with a BANG!!!

🏁Feb 28/Mar 1 D13 at ECMX🏁

Zoey: GIRLS 11-16/3rd OA
SUPERMINI 12-16/4th OA
WOMENS 12+/8th OA

Cedar: 85 Open 9-13/10th OA
85 12-15/10th OA
Supermini 12-26/1st OA
Schoolboy 1 12-16/1st OA

Zoey is really picking up the pace and her hard work in the gym over the winter is showing! She is finding her flow in the Supermini class where she was once reluctant to mix it up with the boys….its now her favorite class!

Cedar had bike issues during his 85 motos but now that he is AMA 12 - the class selection has opened up with the addition of the Supermini and Schoolboy 1 to his class list. Being the at the bottom of the age group for those classes doesn’t seem to worry him at all and he is finding the speed he needs to keep up!!!

🏁SELLAQ RECAP AT ECMX🏁

Last weekend was our SELLAQ at Elizabeth City Motocross! Both bikes gave us trouble between forks and cranks BUT Dad pulled out all the stops and Cedar was able to compete on his 85 and 112 and walk away with the podiums needed to head to Regionals! He claimed 1st OA in Mini Sr 1 and 2nd OA in Supermini 1.

Zoey is our steady and consistent rider! She is developing a technical and critical
eye for track development and is finding her speed each moto. She walked away with a 3rd place finish in Girls 9-16 and is headed to Regionals!

Proud is an understatement!!! Whew what a ride at Gatorback Cycle Park for the 2025 Thor’s Mini Os!!

This was their first time racing such a HUGE event and I’m happy to say - it won’t be their last! PRs were set and fires were lit!

Cedar finished MX 37th OA in the 85 9-11 after a tough main event that included two falls and a drop to the back of the pack. It was a big heartbreak BUT he’s ready to push on to the next one. SX is something that he loves to hate - ended up 34th OA in the 85 9-11. Both MX and SX he made the main event in that class and for that - we are all super proud!

Zoey raced against the fastest girls from all over! Inspired is an understatement! She raced Women’s 12+ but did not make the main event….BUT she did race Girls 11-16 and put down new PR lap times and got consistently better with each moto. Unfortunately with her very last Girls moto she experienced paralyzing arm pump and struggled to hold on to her handlebars. She pushed through and landed in the 27th OA in that class. She did develop a new love for SX - closing out her motos with a 24th OA in the Girls class.

Take aways - we need bigger gates and more cardio! Starts need work, and RUTS RUTS RUTS!
