Yesterday was the last class with Maui Taekwondo for two of my black belts, Sean and Seana. They are moving across the country.
They arrived in our dojang around a time when I just had started taking over the business portion of Maui Taekwondo. Therefore, when they became black belts, they were some of my personal first that I had been their main instructor throughout their journey. I couldn’t have asked for better students. Always willing to learn, change and help others. They have made teaching a pleasure and students I’m extremely proud of.
I am excited for them and their next adventure. If their future holds another dojang, or any other activity, their instructors, teachers or coaches will be lucky to have them.
Your presence will be missed greatly. By myself and many students. I will miss watching you all grow and excel at the things you do. Also, the weird things you guys talked about in the car rides from one dojang to the next will forever be missed. Haha.
