Geoff is the best husband. Like for reals. He loves unconditionally. He works so hard, out of town away from the comforts of home and his family and he NEVER complains. They say behind every strong man is an even stronger woman. I beg to differ. I think when you find your person and you become better and stronger TOGETHER, you stand hand in hand UNITED.

I know I can be a handful... 🤷🏼♀️
⠀⠀
Between the early mornings, piles of laundry, still catching onto this working from home thing, part time single momming it, carpools, ortho appointments, lessons, rugby practices etc. Sometimes at the end of the day I don’t have much left in me. When he’s home, we make an effort to spend a few moments together in the morning crushing a workout or chatting over coffee. In the evenings, we will throw on a movie or some mindless reality tv. Usually falling asleep before 9:30.
⠀⠀
We have some big goals for 2019. One of them... incorporating date night into our schedule at least once a month. Like a non negotiable out of the house type of night. Our marriage is priority and we will always be mindful of that. If you haven’t done this, put it at the top of your list, do it!!!! Remember why you fell in love. Why you chose each other. Amongst all of the chaos of work and life and children... take some time to just be still with one another.

Here’s to my superhero hubby. You are patient and kind and strong and selfless. You are my lifeline.

Oh and thanks to Plenty of Fish 2011. (Yes, I said it lol) Without it, I wouldn’t have found my Superman.
