Aloha my name is Brandon Mindoro, the new owner of Olympus fit. I have a strong community here on Maui built on integrity and aloha I’m looking forward to meeting the Olympus fit community and merging us all under one roof 💓

This is the journey…20 years of personal training. 10 as an independent contractor. 5 years on Maui. Now officially a small business owner 🥳🎉 This has been in the works for many years. All of the moving parts have been coming together in the past 2 months. It was in the midst of probably the most challenging chapter of my life. I’m just incredibly grateful for God, my spirit guides, the hard work and endurance this took, and the incredible humans along the way. Mahalo nui loa!

When I moved here I had a conversation with a local. I asked him for advice and he told me about the Lōkahi triangle. Ke Akua, Kanaka, ʻĀina. Have a strong relationship with God, take care of the people, and steward the land. I have followed that advice and will continue. This is part of the logo along with the ensō. It embodies the beauty of imperfection (wabi-sabi), accepting transience and letting go of the need for perfection.

Follow for donations to families in need from the storm. Our goal is to spread aloha to our Maui community and outreach neighbor islands. We’re putting together a checklist and can be dropped off at our studio in haiku.

This is Shanna She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 6 years ago. I have so much love, respect, and admiration for her journey. I have no idea what it’s like a day in her shoes. If I visualized that and really felt it, I see two choices. I could wallow away in self pity, victim mentality, and fall in a pit of despair OR I could take this with grace, work on self improvement, mental resilience, and find out what I can do. What’s within my control here? I’m also certain there’s grey area in between that. For years now Shanna shows me the second option. She shows up time and time again authentically. We laugh, we cry, we hold space, we box, we workout, we’re there for each other. This is why I do what i do. It’s not for the ego, it’s not for the money, it’s not for the credibility….it’s for the impact and connection with other humans. Thank you for all the belly laughs Shanna Banana!!!
