This past week/weekend Gavin strapped in for the Biggest Race of the Year – Cup Karts North America Grand Nationals 9! 🏁🔥
It was his first Grand National run in the Junior Class, and calling this field stacked would be an understatement. Imagine going wheel-to-wheel with 90 of the best drivers from across the U.S. and Canada, this is the pinnacle of competition!
The family game plan was clear:
Dad’s goal: Make the show.
Mom’s goal: Finish in one piece.
Gavin’s goal: P1.
With the backing of Lawson Speed Shop, Stealth Chassis - Birelart, Stehle Motorsports, and Elliot Cox Coaching, Gavin showed blistering pace, clocking some of the fastest laps in the Junior Series. 🚀
Unfortunately, Happy Hour didn’t go as planned, but Gavin still punched his ticket to the Grand Final, starting P19 out of 61 karts!
The Final was pure adrenaline with an intense start, elbows out, full send ⚡ and fifteen grueling laps later, Gavin crossed the line in P19. We are proud of Gavin's drive and determination. He took on the best and proved he belongs💪
