Today we’re highlighting an event designed for our youngest artists: the Sidewalk Chalk Contest at Night Heron Park.
Join us on July 1st from 1–1:45pm near the playground as we turn the walkways into a patriotic display of creativity. We’ll provide the chalk, so just bring your imagination and holiday spirit! ✨🖍️

The countdown continues! Today we’re spotlighting one of the most creative, action‑packed traditions of the holiday: the annual Sand Sculpting Contest. Whether you’re a master builder or simply love playing in the sand, this family‑friendly favorite always brings out incredible imagination. 🏰

Held at the Sanctuary Beach Access, the contest runs from 1–2:30pm on the 4th. Admission is complimentary, and no reservations are required. A limited supply of shovels and buckets will be available on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Per town ordinance, metal shovels are not permitted.
