The LPGA and USGA are pleased to announce the 2012 LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Team Championship and Academy which will be hosted June 11 – 13, 2012 at the beautiful Kiawah Island Club, in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. One hundred fifty eight LPGA-USGA Girls Golf members will have the opportunity to participate in this very special event, which will bring juniors from across the country together to enjoy fun-filled competition and instruction. Following the philosophy of the Girls Golf mission, registrants will gain entry into the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Team Championship and Academy based on their commitment and participation in the program. Playing ability is not a criterion for choosing teams that will play in the Championship and players will be placed in flights based on ability. The Academy is open to any level of player that meets the eligibility requirements.
