Nine years after a one-and-done situation at Interlachen High School, Lantz Lowery was certain this was the time to return to being a head football coach.

“It is partly why I left Keystone Heights and came to Palatka,” Lowery said. “So it’s been something that’s been in the back of my mind for a moment.”

On Wednesday morning, Lowery was named the new head football coach at Palatka Junior-Senior High School by Principal Cathy Oyster.

Today marks the final round of our beloved 108 year-old Donald Ross designed Golf Course. It’s been a place of unforgettable memories, countless birdies, and even fewer bogeys. I want to thank all the players, staff, and fans who have been a part of this historic Course over the years. Your love for the game and this special place will never be forgotten.
