Captain Dylan had the boat out this morning with a small crowd. The group had some short action to keep things interesting, but the keepers proved to be elusive today! Did a ton of searching around, hunting hard for those bigger fish, but unfortunately, we just couldn't find the luck we wanted.

​That being said, everyone still had a great time on the water, enjoyed the beautiful weather, and kept those rods bending! Massive thanks to our small morning group for grinding it out with us. 🙌

Captain Frank had the boat out on Sunday, and after Saturday's extremely slow Sea Bass bite, we decided to shift gears and target Fluke in the bay to see if things had changed.

​It was a massive step up from what we’ve seen so far this year. With a light crowd of only 12 anglers, we managed to put 6 keeper Fluke in the box and kept busy with steady short action throughout the entire day.

​Unless the Sea Bass fishing takes a major turn for the better, we are shifting our focus back to targeting Fluke!

⚠️ As many of our regulars know, weekday attendance can be unpredictable. There is nothing worse than driving down to the dock only for us to come up just a few anglers short of the minimum needed to sail. We absolutely hate giving that speech and sending people home!

​To help ensure we actually make it out, we are asking for your help on Monday through Thursday trips:

​Monday through Thursday: ⚓ Reservations are NOT required, but we are strongly encouraging everyone to call ahead or book online!

This simply gives us an idea of how many people are coming so we can better guarantee a trip!

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again we absolutely hate leaving people standing on the dock, especially for an event like this!

​When the Keyport Princess completely sold out, we opened up the Nighthawk to make sure more of you could get a front-row seat to history. But here’s the reality check, those spots are disappearing fast too!

We headed out today with a decent group. We had some action and looked all around, but unfortunately, the sea bass just weren't cooperating. It was a bit slow, and we only managed a few short sea bass today.

​Tomorrow’s Plan (Sunday, June 14th):

Because the sea bass were stubborn today, we are shifting gears tomorrow! We’ll be heading right back out to try our luck fluking. We are going to target fluke specifically tomorrow, so get your rigs ready and come join us!

Had a small crowd today as we headed out for Sea Bass and Fluke. It wasn’t our greatest day we saw life on every spot, but the bite just wasn't there due to a very slow, almost non existent drift. We did manage to pool a few keepers, though unfortunately nothing picture worthy today!

As the water is warming up the fishing 🎣 is getting better with some nice keeper coming over the rail and some better action on the shorts. We are trying to sail everyday. We need 10 to sail so give us a call. Monday thru Thursday we are doing reservations or groups of 10 right now.

We had a great charter group out with us today. We managed to put a handful of nice keepers in the boat along with plenty of short action to keep everyone busy. Big thanks to today's crew for fishing with us.

We put some serious miles on the boat today trying to find a decent fluke bite, but it was a tough one out there. We did a whole lot of running around with little to no luck in most spots, only managing to scrape up one keeper fluke (plus a surprise 48-inch striped bass that decided to crash the party).

​A huge thank you to the light crowd we had on board today. Between the slow bite and the annoying snags, it was a testing day, but everyone stuck it out and fished hard.
