Gotta love those King tides. That is not rain water you’re driving through on the island, that is saltwater so slow down because you’re gonna rust your car out folks. We have had zero rain!

Key West Coastal Charters best winter trip is the Backcountry Discovery! It’s perfect for the windy days we get all winter.

The BD trip includes a leisurely cruise through the mangroves where it never feels windy and the water is always calm. We discuss the importance of the ecosystem and look for wildlife. Then we hit up a very shallow, protected sandbar to just chill or shell and critter hunt. Lastly, we snorkel around the mangroves to see what amazing things we can find!

This trip is not in open water, always calm and loaded with wildlife big and small. As always, Capt. Amy will ID all the animals, even and especially, the tiny overlooked (and coolest) ones!

This trip is a deep dive into the mangroves and won’t beat the heck out of you on our windy winter days!

Ok fam, so listen, this is a very slow fall! It seems we are back to our normal seasons after Covid. Because of that, all sandbar trips are discounted right now! I don’t know when that will end. I’m thinking the middle of November, but you should get in the books now and secure that discount! Your booking can be for any date.
