Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces is proud to announce that on May 6th, 2024, Crandon Golf Course at Key Biscayne will be undergoing a $5 million revitalization / renovation project. This project will ensure optimal playing experiences for golfers while we update our irrigation system, bunkers, putting greens, teeing grounds, cart paths, parking lot and entry roads.

Crandon Golf Course will remain open and accommodations have been made to ensure continuous play for our patrons. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we work to better serve you. The estimated completion and reopening date is early Fall 2024.

Revitalization Course Accommodation:
During the course renovation, nine holes will be open for play with both 18-hole play (double loop) and 9-hole play options. Each hole will be provided with dual flags and multiple tee options available to mix up the challenge and fun.

This year's proceeds will benefit Centro Mater Child Care Services, a 55-year-old, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that strives to aid economically disadvantaged families by providing child care, educational and health services. www.centromater.com

The Westwind Lakes Park splash pad is temporarily closed due to impacts to its operating system caused by weather/lightning. Miami-Dade County Parks is diligently working on repairs. A diagnosis of the computer operating system will be completed on Monday, July 31, 2023, to determine the impact. Our goal is to reopen the splash pad as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we thank you for your understanding.

A Wind Advisory is now in effect for coastal Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach through 2 a.m. Tuesday. 25 to 30 MPH winds with gusts up to 40 MPH are expected.
