What a special run it’s been for this crew. Congratulations Coach Cesar, Mateo Montero-Johnson and Tony Sevillano for another National Championship! In 2023 this team won gold in the U17 Men’s 2x and this past Sunday they raced their last event together at Nationals and won gold 🏆 in the U19 Men’s 2-. MRC Family wishes you both continued success rowing with your college teams at Cornell Lightweight Rowing (Mateo) and Tufts Rowing (Tony). Your tenacity inspires us 💙

Our 2026 Youth Program Season has come to a close with one of the strongest team finishes at the USRowing Youth Nationals with 6 out of 8 event boats finishing in A Finals! A big congratulations to our coaches and rowers, who represented MRC Family with integrity, grit and heart all week long! 💙✨🙌💪

The Miami Rowing Club propels to unprecedented success at the USROWING YOUTH NATIONAL 2026, setting a new benchmark with eight boats qualifying for nationals and six securing coveted spots in the Grand Final A.
