Diver's Paradise is a Florida Department of Education Licensed 5 Star Instructor Development Training Facility. We have been in business serving the Miami and Key Biscayne with professional dive charters, snorkel trips, scuba instruction and retail services since 1977. The Diver's Paradise Advanced Open Water Diver class is an excellent opportunity to expand diving skills under professional, experienced supervision.

Students do not need to be experienced divers in order to take this class.

Students will learn how to navigate properly, perfect buoyancy, identify marine life, safely dive on a wreck and go beyond the 60-foot limit of the Open Water certification.

Be a professional.

The nine-day Instructor Development Course (IDC) trains eligible students to qualify & pass the PADI Instructor exam to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.

The Diver's Paradise IDC is divided into two segments—Assistant Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor. Both courses must be completed before attending the PADI Instructor Exam. Each segment may be scheduled as a stand-alone course, or completed at one time.

As a Florida Department of Education-licensed school and certified as a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center, Diver's Paradise Professional Institute teaches professional training and a variety of courses—working with your schedule and available time.

The educational arm of our dive center is Diver’s Paradise Professional Institute (DPPI). As a Florida Department of Education-licensed school and certified as a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center, DPPI teaches professional training and a variety of courses.

From Divemaster through instructor levels, DPPI has built a comprehensive curriculum that includes accelerated learning, specialty certifications and mentorship programs. DPPI and Diver’s Paradise Dive Center have ongoing opportunities for growth and development within the scuba diving industry.
