It seems fitting to share this memorable information about the current playground that is at Reigle Family Park.

Please know that dozens of volunteers devoted countless hours of manual labor towards disassembling, moving, reassembling & mulching the current playground & its equipment. This truly was a massive effort & we cannot thank those volunteers enough!

The possibility of this equipment (which has only been at RFP for a little over 5 years) being bulldozed & removed from the park is heartbreaking for the dozens of volunteers who poured their hearts & souls into this project.

Please keep dogs off the athletic fields and clean up after your pets. The Kewaskum Youth Soccer Organization spends a lot of money every year to maintain the soccer fields and to provide a safe place for children to play.

Signage is completed at Reigle Family Park! Many thanks to Anne Trautner for creating seven interpretive signs and to Michael Medinger for installing the signs as part of his Eagle Scout Project! The signs describe the history of the 31 acres that make up the park, provide information about the five-acre prairie and illustrate fish that are in the catch-and-release fishing pond. These signs would not have been possible without the help of many people. Thank you to Ryan Amerling for all his help and expertise with the prairie! Thank you to Eddie Trautner for his terrific artwork! Thank you to those who helped provide information about the history of the land, especially Ken Ogi, whose painting is featured on one of the signs, Jim Reigle, the late Jeff Reigle, Washington County Register of Deeds Sharon Martin, and Sandy Volm Zehren and Stacy Zehren Nelson, whose family owned the land 78 years ago! Also, thank you to Sherry at Kruepke Printing and Randall Gremminger and Brandi at Trend Setters Sign Shop for their help with the signs! And many thanks to the other members of the Reigle Family Park Committee who have helped create this incredible park: Dan Fischer, Amy Marie Uhlig, Sarah Severance and Tom Bishop, and to everyone who has donated to the cause! Be sure to stop out at the park – Enjoy!
