Hi everybody! This summer's BWSJ officially ended yesterday at Sacajawea State Park, leaving us all with full hearts.

We just want to give a huge thank you to everyone who helped support, believed in, and worked to make this journey happen! We learned a lot, had an abundance of fun, stayed safe, fed, and healthy.

We are looking forward to the other paddles we will have the pleasure of participating in this summer.

Stay tuned for information regarding our next big jump!

We've made it the Wanapum Dam today!
A huge thank you to Brian in Vantage for having food for us and a place to stay last night.
It was also a big honor to meet with Joe and his family from the Wanapum tribe at Sand Hollow Campground. Your help is much appreciated!
Next stop, Wanapum Heritage Museum!

Happy 4th of July from the river!

Started off with re-assembling the catamaroon in Bridgeport after portaging Chief Joseph Dam. Ending the night with dinner and a show- fresh caught Walleye, fried on the canoe, chili and green salad, accompanied by fireworks in Brewster.

Headed to Pateros in the morning! Hope to see you on the river.

Hi everybody!

The paddlers are back out on the river after completing their first dam portage around Grand Coulee, Woohoo!

A special thank you to Terry, Kodi, Ben, Liz, and all other canoe family that took care of paddlers and shuttle drivers yesterday!

The next portage should be from Bridgeport on July 3rd.

Thank you again, to everyone who has donated and supported, but we still have several weeks to go, so please remember to donate to The Big Water Salmon Jump through our fiscal sponsor, the Spokane Riverkeeper!

Good morning, folks! The paddlers had a wonderful stop in Two Rivers yesterday, where some food was delivered, and some paddlers went home, and others joined! They are off to an early start today and should be at Spring Canyon by the 29th.

If you want to donate to help keep the paddlers well fed, please donate through our fiscal sponsor, the Spokane Riverkeeper, to the Big Water Salmon Jump.

Thank you to everyone who has donated this far. We could not do this trip without you!

Thank you Katie from the Spokane Riverkeeper for setting up this donation site for the expedition! We are only 2 weeks out, so any donations at this point will go directly to food, shuttle gas, cooking fuel and camping sites. Any amount helps get us to the Snake River Confluence! Thank you!
