My Story
My name is James Jennings, and Kilo Foxtrot Fitness was born from the hardest seasons of my life.
I served in the United States Marine Corps after 9/11. The Marines taught me discipline, accountability, and what it means to keep moving forward when things get hard. Those lessons became the foundation of the man I wanted to be long after I left the military.
Life hasn’t always been easy. I’ve survived childhood abuse, experienced the pain of divorce, and then found the love I had always hoped for. In July of 2024, my wife Rachel passed away. Losing her was the most difficult thing I have ever faced. As a father, I had a choice to make. I could let grief define me, or I could keep fighting for my family and for the life she would have wanted us to live.
Fitness became my anchor. It wasn’t about looking good. It was about surviving. Every workout reminded me that I was still here, still breathing, and still capable of taking one more step forward.
That journey is why I created Kilo Foxtrot Fitness.
This business is about far more than exercise. It is about helping people rediscover the person they used to be before life became overwhelming. We help busy parents, hardworking professionals, athletes, and everyday people build strength, improve their health, and regain confidence through functional training, nutrition coaching, accountability, and a supportive community.
I believe discipline will always outlast motivation. Motivation comes and goes, but discipline is what gets you out of bed on the days when you don’t feel like showing up. It is what carries you through setbacks, disappointments, and seasons when quitting seems easier.
The name Kilo Foxtrot Fitness reflects my military background, but it has grown to mean something even more important. To us, KFF means Keep Fighting.
No matter where you’ve been, what you’ve lost, or how many times you’ve fallen, your story isn’t over. You are capable of becoming stronger than you ever imagined.
That is why we exist.
We help people reclaim their confidence, their health, and their lives one workout, one choice, and one day at a time.
My story is still being written, just like yours. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to walk that journey with you.
Keep Fighting.
