This is the face of a man who’s had to do what I told him for five days straight 🤣

Wayne had a crazy week last week, so we did what we do- adapt!
Adapt to Monday-Friday training sessions this week 😅😮‍💨

A five day split, today being CARDIOOOOOO 💪🏻

He was only a little (super) dramatic 🤪

He did great this week, and because of all of his hard work, he’s lost 7 pounds in the 6 weeks he’s been with me!

I look forward to Wayne’s workouts, he’s an unadmitted glutton for punishment, which gives me an outlet to be creative, and well, kick his ass.

Good job, Wayne! I hope for your sake you never see me five days in a row again 😇

How it started vs how it’s going!!!
(ft my oldest as a lil bean!)

I hadn’t even had my second baby yet! 👀

Today, I needed a reminder of how far I’ve come. How many habits I changed, the level of consistency and dedication that seemingly developed overnight, losing 90 pounds, changing careers and getting a degree with two toddlers, the now 20+ people I serve on a weekly basis on their journey, at a job that I adore. 💪🏻

This journey isn’t always easy. Motivation, time, energy- all fleeting. But if you want something bad enough, you go get it. You work hard to keep it. 📝

I may not always be right where I want to be, but the girl on the left thought this life was an impossibility. 😅

Now I’m watching my dreams come true.

Don’t count yourself out of anything, five years from now might be unfathomable, but that version of you is waiting for you and the world you’ll do. Go baby go. 🏁

A reminder to myself and everyone else, we are capable of hard things. YOU CANT GIVE UP. you can be discouraged, frustrated, ready to throw your hands up but you can’t QUIT. everytime I wanted to quit I went harder, if I got bored I changed my training, if I messed up a day, i didnt make the day worse and just say “f*** it” I started over the next day, and learned how to be more proactive to keep myself from doing that. Turn those obstacles into lessons and motivation. I didn’t know what I was doing, everyday I was fumbling through it but 8 months, 5+ days in the gym a week, eating in a calorie deficit. I committed to myself, no one was going to save me, my kids needed a healthy mom and deserved an active one. Now one can take this from me ever. And now not only am I at my goal weight, and maintained it for nearly two years, but I’m stronger than ever. You can do this. If I can, anybody can. 🥰

Reading this morning about how practicing 'mindfulness' (meditation, awareness/responding to your own needs, practicing acceptance/objectivity on yourself, etc.) can lead to greater results in your fitness journey, and better prepare you for maintaining your progress over a 2 year time- our weight loss/fitness journey is multi-faceted, exercise and food are our main focus, but what about the rest of our bodies? our mental health?

Sleep, hydration, the way we take care of ourselves, and the way we speak to, feel about and advocate for ourselves; it all plays a role in this healthy lifestyle that we're pursuing.

Revisit your goals, stop and take some deep breaths, meditate for 20 minutes if it suits you, practice mindfulness however it looks to you- it might be a big help!
