What an exciting at The Greene as we celebrated the grand opening of L.L.Bean! It was wonderful to be there, meet the team & welcome them to the community.
The South YMCA is incredibly grateful for L.L.Bean's generous donation and investment in our youth. Their support will help us create more opportunities for young people to explore the outdoors, discover new adventures, build confidence & create memories that last a lifetime!

Giving Back to Our New Community
As we celebrate the opening of our new store, we're proud to invest in the community that has welcomed us so warmly. L.L. Bean is donating $10,000 to the South YMCA - Kettering, OH helping create more opportunities for local youth to experience the adventure, growth, and connection that summer camp provides. Since 2022, L.L. Bean has contributed more than $2.25 million to support YMCA Summer Camp Scholarships across the country. This funding has provided over 200 scholarships to local YMCAs, helping underserved youth attend summer camp who might not otherwise have the opportunity. At L.L.Bean, we believe time spent outdoors has the power to inspire confidence, build friendships, and create lifelong memories. We're honored to partner with the YMCA to help make those experiences possible for more young people in our community.
