Congratulations to our Sous Chef Aaron Braun on winning both Judges’ Choice and the final cook off at Miami Valley Meals’ Diced in Dayton! Aaron led the team, with Executive Chef Brian Griffey cooking alongside him.

For the tasting and voting round, they prepared Pastitsio using mystery ingredients including kale, eggs, and DLM Asiago Garlic Cheese Dip, as well as Lamb Bolognese with orange and rosemary. In the final cook off, their vegetarian mushroom stir fried rice with squash earned them the championship.

We’re incredibly proud of Aaron and Brian and glad they could support Miami Valley Meals’ work to address hunger in our community.

Congratulations Aaron and Brian!

Congratulations Connor VanSkyock, our Employee of the Month!

Now in his third season at NCR Country Club, Connor continues to grow in his role as an Associate Professional in our Golf Department. From starting primarily in the bag room and Golf Shop, he now assists with events, leagues, and golf lessons.

Connor says what he enjoys most about working at NCRCC is interacting with our membership each day. He also appreciates the culture among our team and how employees across departments are always willing to step in and help one another succeed.

A few fun facts about Connor: he almost played college basketball, is ready for football season, and hopes to one day play a round of golf at St. Andrews.

Congratulations, Connor, and thank you for your continued dedication to NCR Country Club!
