Postcards from Sun Valley ⛰

And if you're thinking to yourself...

"Wow, that looks really remote. Where are all the people?"
"Everyone looks so happy."

You'd be correct about three things:

✔️ It IS remote.
✔️ You DO NOT see a lot of people.
✔️ Everyone really is THAT happy.

Funny how that works.

Turns out a few hundred square miles of Idaho, endless gravel roads, and a healthy distance from your inbox can do wonders for the human spirit.

But isn't that kind of how we like it?

Rebecca’s Private Idaho.
A new weekend → Sept. 9-12, 2026

Even less people. Less traffic. More space for all.
It doesn’t get any better.

Some events are about results.

This one’s about the people you can’t stop talking about afterward.

The rider who shared snacks with you at mile 40.
The stranger who became your dinner buddy by Day 2.

The crew you accidentally formed while standing around covered in dust waiting for the next shuttle, beer, brat, hot spring, or questionable Potato Olympics strategy session.

That’s the weird little magic trick of this week in Idaho.

You come for the gravel.
You leave with stories, inside jokes, and at least three new people you’ll end up texting next February when you’re wondering if signing up again is a terrible idea.
(It is. You should still do it.)

And somehow, between all the riding, cheering, laughing, and Be Good-ing… it starts to feel a little like home.

September can’t come soon enough. 💛

Private Idaho just got more… private.

For 13 years, has held the line on Labor Day weekend.

This year, we’re breaking tradition in the best way.

📅 September 9–12
Same world-class gravel
More space to experience it

No holiday traffic
No fighting for reservations
No crowds competing for your weekend

Just you, your bike, and a little more room to disappear into Idaho.

Because what people don’t always tell you about RPI is this…

It’s not just the riding
It’s the in-between

Hot springs with people who were strangers yesterday.
Evenings in Ketchum that turn into stories you’ll tell all year.

The kind of place that feels familiar, fast.
And this year, we’re going even further:

🥔 A reimagined Baked Potato

🥔 A brand-new 118-mile Fully Loaded Potato

🥔 Terrain we’ve been saving for something special

We’re not giving away all the details…

That’s kind of the point
This isn’t just a new date

It’s a better version of the weekend we’ve been building for over a decade.

Spots are filling, because in a place like this, they have to.

Yes, the community is incredible.

Yes, the energy is unmatched.

But there are also moments out there… where it’s just you.
No noise. No distractions.

Just gravel under your tires and whatever you brought with you to the start line.

And somewhere along the way, that space becomes something else.
👉 A reset
👉 A reminder
👉 A realization that you’re stronger than you thought

And just when you need it…
Someone shows up. A rider. A volunteer.
A finish line that feels like home.

That’s the magic of RPI.
It gives you both: the solitude and the connection.

And somehow, you leave with exactly what you didn’t know you came for.

There’s a reason Rebecca’s Private Idaho is called the Most Beautiful Gravel Race in America.

Since launched the event in 2013, riders from around the world have made the trip to Idaho’s wild backcountry. Professional racers and everyday gravel riders alike come to experience the roads surrounding Sun Valley and Ketchum.

What they find is more than a race. It is a ride through rugged ancient Rocky Mountain landscapes, endless gravel roads, and some of the most breathtaking terrain in the country.

It is why Global Cycling Network ranked RPI as a Top Five Gravel Event and why Outside Magazine named us one of the 25 Best Bike Rides in the World.

Rebecca’s Private Idaho takes place on the ancestral lands of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribe, whose connection to this landscape stretches back generations.

This is gravel the way it was meant to be experienced.

Come see it for yourself.

At , support for Veterans isn’t a one-off gesture, it’s a thread woven deep into the fabric of who we are.

Alongside the , we’ve built programs that create more access, more opportunity, and more time on bikes for Veterans and riders from underserved communities.

Because the freedom found on two wheels?
Everyone deserves that.

And we’re continuing that good work with 20% off registration for Veterans. Consider it our small way of saying thank you for the big things you’ve done.

Ride with us. Belong with us.

Brutal Beauty beneath the Boulder Mountains.

Stage 1 of the Queen’s Stage Race, dives straight into the soul of the Wood River Valley along the Harriman Trail’s wild backbone.

A gritty mix of single and double track, it winds through aspen groves and sagebrush meadows, all while those jagged Boulder peaks keep a watchful eye (and maybe a chuckle).

📍QSR Stage 1: Harriman Trail
⛰️ Elevation, emotion, and just enough type-2 fun.

Into the time machine we go… back to RPI 2016. 🌀

Somehow this was ten years ago. 🤯

Before aero socks were mainstream, before gravel had its own genre, and long before we knew just how big this wild ride would get.

The roads? Still epic. The climbs? Still rude.
The community? Still pure magic.

Here’s to how far we’ve come and the dirt we’ve still got to cover. 💥
