Support our friends at Wood River Trails during Idaho Gives!

Today is the launch of Idaho Gives! Each spring, Idaho rallies around its nonprofit community with a day of giving. This year, due to our new reality, Idaho Gives is a two week event, April 23rd through May 7th. Our goals for the event have not changed. We want to raise $5,000 to help us with the following summer 2020 goals (https://www.idahogives.org/organizations/wood-river-trails-coalition):

- Complete 600 hours of volunteer trail work (+100 from 2019)

- Recruit 50 new volunteers

- Continue to fund one crew member position on the Ketchum Ranger District trail crew = $10,000. One mile of professional maintenance costs about $200, so this effectively funds 50 miles of trail maintenance

- Work with land managers on trail project development, layout and design for future projects

- Build a nest egg for future projects = $15,000. For reference, one new mile of trail = ~$30,000

A generous donor is MATCHING the first $1,000 of contributions to the WRTC. This means your dollar goes farther in helping us achieve the above goals.

Text a pic of it to your co-workers, and stay positive and connected as a Backwoods Family. Since it's making us happy, we've decided to share it with you. Once a day as long as this lasts. Join us by posting up what you're doing to stay sane while staying safe. Best customer post tagged (as voted on by the Backwoods staff) gets a $50 gift certificate the day the isloation order is lifted.
We're kicking this off with the brains behind this idea. Manager Keith Anspach, his wife Danielle, and son McCoy got out on Silver Creek. Grandma and Grandpa followed at an appropriate distance. 😁
