LaRue Hoops Academy will begin to operate a full service basketball academy at The Fitness Center at Kernersville (861 Old Winston road Kernersville, NC 27284) (336)992-1700. LaRue Hoops Academy programs will consist of individual and small group instruction, classes, clinics, camps and other basketball related programs, products and services. OPEN HOUSE:

enter at Kernersville will be kicking off the Basketball Academy with an OPEN HOUSE on Saturday 5/19/12 from 10 am – 1 pm and Sunday 5/20/2012 from 1 pm – 4 pm.

• Participates will have the opportunity to compete once for FREE in 3 events (Free Throw Contest / Hot Shot Competition / Skills Challenge); additional opportunities to compete will be $5 per event.

• Participating age groups: K-2nd/3rd-5th/6th-8th/9th-12th/Adult (COED).

• Top 2 scores in each age group for each event will be put in a drawing to win a free session of Skills & Drills Classes valued at $150 (One winner will be drawn from each age group). LaRue Hoops Academy Instructors, Directors and Owners:

• Multi-sport athlete in High School /College; basketball, football, baseball, golf
• Won two AAU NC State Championships; named NC AAU all state as a Sophomore
• Noted top 500 basketball players in the United States by Bob Gibbons
• Nominated McDonalds All-American
• Played college basketball at Pfeiffer University
