Just to quiet all the rumors and questions about us. NO! The Kerkhoven Speed Shop is not buying Arctic Cat and moving our world headquarters to Thief River Falls! It was discussed , but the staff members just didn’t feel comfortable leaving Kerkhoven. It is home for us. However we have offered the new owners our expertise and services to help with the transition ! We wish them the best!

Tommy warned the staff we would be confronted by seemingly rare snowmobiles. Worth lots and lots of money. Today we found the elusive 1989 EXT el tigre 6000. You won’t find it in brochures but an acquaintance, who also sells fake Guccis and Rolexes, said we could have it for a song. Five-figures, no doubt.

Here are some pictures. Tomorrow, we will attempt to obtain the serial number and build date.

UPDATE - Staff has determined it is a twin pipe 530 with o ring heads but it is, indeed, a clone. Serial number and build numbers are filled in, likely by the powder coating. Cylinders are expertly ported with Boysen reeds.

Watch out boys and girls, a clone invasion!

It is with great sadness that we have to tell all of our fans and friends that the man upstairs decided he needed Tommy up at the Speed Shop in the Heavens more than we needed him here on earth. The Staff of the Kerkhoven Speed Shop will greatly miss our leader, mentor and most of all our friend. Loved by many , he would help anyone that needed advice of any kind . RIP Big T, your passing leaves a huge hole in our hearts.
