Midwest Xtreme is excited to open its winter tournament series with the Tri-State Tipoff at FunCity Courts in Burlington, Iowa, on Saturday, November 21st!

✅ Scheduling designed to limit extended breaks

All Midwest Xtreme tournaments are also Triple State Qualifier for the Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri Middle School Basketball State Championships. Teams finishing 1st or 2nd will earn medals and receive a Golden Ticket to qualify for the State Championships in Feb & March! Iowa Middle School Basketball Championship reps will be on site to qualify help teams sign up!.

We are less than 2 weeks away from Midwest Xtreme Basketball winter tryouts on Sun, Aug 30th! 4th-6th at 3 pm and 7th/8th at 4 pm!

We are excited to be planning for our fourth season, and keep on the grind to find new ways to improve our experiences and offerings! It has always been our goal to provide low cost opportunities to the girls in our area, and give them chances to compete vs top teams from all over the midwest without having to pay a huge team dues and travel for hours to practice! The training program enhancements have really advanced our players skills over the summer! We have had some girls take dramatic leaps, and I can’t wait to see the fruit show up in school ball and this winter with us! Don’t miss out on the opportunity for your athlete to do the same!

In addition to our hosted 1 day tourneys at FunCity Courts, we will be working on tentative schedules for the teams to share at tryouts! The younger teams will begin practices in late Oct/early Nov, and begin play in late November. Junior High teams (7th/8th) will begin practicing after their school seasons are complete (mid December), and first tourneys will be our hosted tourney Jan 2nd. Feel free to reach out with any questions, we would love to have your athlete join us on 8/30 to check things out! Our tryouts serve to fill our full-time, part-time and to be conserved for Guest players. Just mark your interest on the form!

Aliya has big goals that go far beyond the basketball court! 💪 She dreams of becoming a criminal profiler, while also chasing her goal of playing Division I basketball. She cheers for the Chicago Sky and Minnesota Timberwolves, is a fan of LSU, and fuels up with Jolly Rancher Gummies before tip-off. 🍬🏀 One day, she hopes to start a nonprofit organization to help kids in need. ❤️👏

🏀 PROVEN DEVELOPMENT. REAL RESULTS. TRY OUT AUG 30! 🏀

Midwest Xtreme was created in 2023 to help tri-state area girls develop the skills, confidence, and basketball IQ needed to impact their high school teams, compete at the national level, and pursue college basketball opportunities.

Our current 8th-grade group has been with the program since the summer before fifth grade. Along the way, they won the 2025 Iowa Middle School Championship club state title as sixth graders and finished second in 2026 while playing up in the eighth-grade division.

That development is also showing up in school basketball. Four players from last season are now back-to-back IESA State Champions, and an additional player won an IESA State Championship this past season. Three girls have also competed with national-level travel teams this summer.

We continue investing in our athletes by bringing in professional trainers such as five-time Olympian and former WNBA player Adriana Mafra and nationally recognized trainer Hunter Rhodes. The growth shown by girls throughout our program has been tremendous.

Midwest Xtreme is not a fly-by-night organization. We have a proven track record and a long-term plan focused on one thing: helping every player reach her potential, wherever her basketball journey and life takes her.

🏀 WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO PLAY FOR MIDWEST XTREME? 🏀

As we approach our Midwest Xtreme girls basketball tryouts on Sunday, August 30th, our athletes are finishing their summer training season with two more sessions (including this Friday and one in August) led by renowned basketball trainer Hunter Rhodes.

These sessions are another example of what Midwest Xtreme works to provide its athletes: high-level instruction, meaningful player development, and opportunities to learn from high quality basketball trainers.

This winter, it could be your athlete receiving those opportunities.

Girls who join Midwest Xtreme will have access to more than games and tournaments. We plan to continue offering additional training and development opportunities throughout the winter season for athletes who are ready to work, improve, and compete!
