🙏🏼 What an incredible opening weekend at City Slopes!

On behalf of our team, we are so grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate, try the slope, support our staff and our mission, and help us make this crazy dream feel real after a year and a half in the making.

A huge THANK YOU to our community businesses, organizations, and partners who helped make our Grand Opening extra special with great giveaways, face painting, food, and support.

To friends and family: This weekend, this business, my mental health, none of it, would not have made it through without you. Words don’t even begin to express how lucky and grateful I am to have you in my corner. These last ~2 years have been the most difficult of my life. It wasn’t always pretty, and I wasn’t always my best self. But I’m damn sure going to give it my all to take what you’ve helped me build and uplift the community and those around me the best I can.

Last but certainly not least, to my team: I’ve never experienced a more dedicated, passionate, and selfless group of people working toward a unified goal - to bring people together, promote and grow the snowsports industry (especially to increase accessibility), and build something new from the ground up. Thank you for your talents, your determination, (unfortunately) your patience, and believing in our vision.

So here’s the scoop…we’ve been working to get all new power to our building, which was required by the city before receiving our occupancy. It’s a major project, and we cleared a big hurdle this week to prepare for the installation. It’s now been passed on Consumers to get scheduled. We don’t yet have a completion date from them, but will share as soon as we have word.

We’ve also been using this extra time to fine-tune our programs, spruce up the facility, and get some extra work in with our team to make sure y’all have an incredible experience when you walk through our doors.
