4 months later, and we are once again in a championship series for the fall league. It starts this sunday starting at 9am in a best of 3 series against the Phillies. Come watch us make history!

The Angels lost game 1 of the championship series to the Rays 3-0. A great pitching performance by Braden whatley was squandered by a lack of offense from the Angels. They had 5 hits in the game, led by Macade Wright with 2.
In game 2, Brock Theriot dueled with Tyler Pigott. Brock only gave up 3 hits in the game and struck out 13. Unfortunately the first inning solo homer he gave up to Pigott was the difference. The Angels outhit the Rays in this game 5-3, led by Joshua Babin who had 2 hits.

Onto the fall.

Angels are rained out from the championship game tomorrow. We have to wait till next sunday. Working when no one is watching

The Angels have advanced to the championship series thanks to incredible performances.

In game 1, Braden Whatley pitched a complete game 6 innings only allowing 3 earned runs. Will Avera collected 3 hits and Toler Smith collected two in a tough loss.

In game 2, Brock Theriot pitched a complete game 6 innings with 2 earned runs and 10 strikeouts. Brad Hammack stole 3 bases with a hit and an rbi, Chad Stephens had a key double and caught the final out to seal the game.

In game 3, somehow Brock outdid his game 2 performance and threw a second straight complete game in 6 more innings. He gave up only 2 earned runs and had 5 more strikeouts. At the plate, the Angels were led to victory by a parade of clutch hits and a couple of mammoth homers. Dylan Trejos hit a 3 run shot and Will Avera hit a 2 run bomb. Will collected 3 hits on the day to lead the Angels. David Whigham also came off the bench to produce two clutch hits and an rbi.

The Angels have advanced to finals on june 2nd against the Rays starting at 9am. Please come out and show your support for this group one more time, lets make it an Angels home series!

Angels clinch the 2 seed! And a bye next week. We play in 2 weeks against TBD in the semifinals.

In game 1 vs the braves Babin, Avera, Garner, and Trejos went a combined 10 for 11 to pace the Angels offense. Braden whatley worked around 5 walks and pitched a complete game with 4 k’s.

In game 2 vs the rangers, Will Avera’s towering 3 run homer paced the Angels. On the mound, Macade Wright got the start and worked 2 scoreless innings striking out 4, Dylan Trejos followed with 2 innings of relief with 4k’s and 1 errors. Will Maley closed it out the last inning with an efficient pitch inning with a strikeout
