Cynergy Dance Academy Where fun and creativity meet quality dance education and your child's safe and proper development is most important!

Our dance year runs September thru the beginning of June, the yearly recital is the 2nd weekend in June. We accept all kids between the ages of 3-18. Our yearly classes are held once weekly for either 45min (3-4 year olds), or an hour (5-18yr olds) and are paid monthly $45 a month. We offer discounts for taking more than one class. 2 classes 10% discount,3 classes= 15%... 4 classes=20%, 5 classes= 25%. Please call with any questions. 567-674-9392

🎥 Recital Video Update! 🎥

Most recital videos have now been sent out! If you provided a Gmail address, you should have received your video already (be sure to check your spam/promotions folders just in case).

For families who do not have a Gmail account, I'm still working on the best way to securely deliver your video files. Additionally, a few registrations did not include an email address, so I need to go back through student files to locate that information.

If you have not received your recital video yet, don't worry! Those remaining videos should be sent out by Sunday evening.

⭐🌟☀️ MISSION ACCEPTED ☀️🌟⭐

Congratulations to our 2026-2027 Cynergy Dance Academy Competition Teams! A big THANK YOU to our judges who had a very difficult job tonight!

After an incredible week of auditions, we are excited to officially announce our Sirius, Solstice, and Stellar teams. We are so proud of every dancer who stepped out of their comfort zone, worked hard, showed courage, and gave us their very best throughout the audition process.

This season, we have added a new team level, Solstice, allowing us to better recognize the growth, talent, and dedication we saw throughout auditions. The addition of this team creates more opportunities for dancers to be challenged, succeed, and continue progressing in their dance journey.

Our Sirius, Solstice, and Stellar teams will each compete with two routines this season (Jazz and Lyrical/Contemporary) and will also join together for a large production number featuring all three teams. We are incredibly excited about the opportunities this structure creates and cannot wait to begin building this season's choreography.

You may notice that our Super Novas team is not included in today's announcement. This year, we are returning to a strong emphasis on technique training for our youngest dancers. Super Nova auditions will take place later this summer after dancers have had the opportunity to participate in technique classes with Miss Kelli. We believe this will give our younger dancers the best chance to grow, gain confidence, and demonstrate their full potential before team selections are made.

Every season looks a little different, but our goal remains the same: to help every dancer become the strongest, most confident version of themselves both on and off the stage.

This past weekend, as they walked off the stage, our seniors carried something very special with them—their very first dance costumes.

For many of these dancers, those tiny costumes represent years of hard work, countless rehearsals, friendships, laughter, tears, growth, and memories that will last a lifetime. What started as little dancers taking their first steps across a studio floor has led them to this moment: their final walk across the recital stage as Cynergy seniors.

Watching them hold the costumes that started it all is a reminder of just how far they've come. We have had the privilege of watching them grow not only into beautiful dancers, but into incredible young adults.

To our Class of 2026 seniors: thank you for sharing your journeys with us. Thank you for the memories, the dedication, and the impact you've made on our studio family. No matter where life takes you next, a piece of Cynergy will always be with you—and a piece of you will always remain here.

We are so proud of you.

Darcy Shumaker ... This was an absolute shock! Thank you so very much for such an amazing tribute to a past that is so full of love, friendships, sweat, tears, love of all things dance, and this beautiful legacy! It meant so very much to have Penny Fiebiger-Secor up there with us all receiving her piece of the stage as well!
To those of you confused or wondering... Every single person getting this amazing gift today performed 15+ years in recitals dancing under Penny's direction on that wood and then continued teaching others on that very wood. This studio is a legacy and will continue to be.
I'm so thankful for our new amazing facility but it's beautiful to have a piece of where we all started. ❤️ I love you all!

And thank you Kirk ( Amanda Cameron ) for assisting them with our surprise today. It was epic and so thoughtful! ❤️

As I sit here reflecting on this recital weekend, my heart is so full.

Every year I wonder how it will all come together, and every year these dancers remind me why I do what I do. Watching them take the stage this weekend filled me with so much pride. The growth, confidence, hard work, and love they poured into every performance was truly beyond words.

To my dancers: thank you for trusting us, working hard, supporting one another, and sharing your gifts with everyone who came to watch. You made me proud every single time you stepped on that stage.

To my teachers: thank you for the countless hours, the backstage chaos, the problem-solving, the encouragement, and the love you give these kids. I am so grateful for each of you. This recital would not have been possible without your dedication.

To the amazing PAC staff and tech team: thank you for welcoming us, supporting us, and helping bring our vision to life. You were incredible to work with, and we appreciate everything you did to make this weekend a success.

And to our dance families, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters—thank you. Thank you for the rides, the costumes, the late nights, the fundraising, the encouragement, and for trusting us with your children. Cynergy is more than a dance studio; it's a family, and that family showed up in a big way this weekend.

This season has brought challenges, victories, laughter, tears, and so many memories that I will never forget. Watching these dancers grow into confident, kind, talented young people is the greatest reward.

Thank you all for helping make Beyond Words so special. I am incredibly blessed to be part of this journey with each of you.

Cynergy Dance Academy Senior Spotlight!

Miss Rylee Frey

Rylee has been dancing at Cynergy Dance Academy for almost her entire life. She started when she was just 3 years old, and 15 years later, dance has become such a meaningful part of who she is.

Some of the best people in Rylee’s life are people she has met through dance, and she will always hold those bonds close to her heart. Along with dancing, Rylee also takes great pride in singing and performing arts. She loves participating in musicals any chance she gets and plans to continue pursuing performing arts opportunities as she begins this next chapter.

This fall, Rylee will attend The Ohio State University at the Lima branch, where she plans to study Primary Education and earn her dual licensure as an Intervention Specialist.

To the younger dancers, Rylee’s advice is to never be afraid to take chances. You will miss 100% of the opportunities you don’t take. Change is not always a bad thing, and sometimes taking a chance can bring some of the best surprises into your life.

Rylee, it has been such a joy watching you grow up through dance and performance. Your talent, heart, and love for the stage have made you such a special part of Cynergy. We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see all the lives you will touch in your next chapter.❤️~ Kelli N. Stephens

Cynergy Dance Academy Senior Spotlight!

Miss Kaylie Klear

Kaylie has been dancing at Cynergy Dance Academy for the past 12 years. Throughout her time at the studio, she has always loved ballet and has also enjoyed taking jazz. From a young age, Kaylie’s love for dance was easy to see, she was always walking around on her tippy toes.

Her journey at Cynergy has been filled with wonderful memories, friendships, and experiences that she will always carry with her. This fall, Kaylie will begin the next chapter of her life at The Ohio State University, where she plans to study Actuary Science.

To all the little dancers, Kaylie’s advice is: stay strong and keep dancing your heart out. ❤️

Cynergy Dance Academy Senior Spotlight!

Miss Trinity Tracy ❤️

After 15 years of sitting in the audience watching seniors say their goodbyes, it is finally Trinity’s turn.

Trinity has been dancing at Cynergy Dance Academy since she was just 3 years old, beginning with a tap/ballet combo class. As she grew, so did her love for dance. She went on to take many different classes and became part of the competition team from 2nd through 4th grade. In 2019, at 11 years old, she reached another special milestone when she received her first pair of pointe shoes.

As middle school and high school became busier, Trinity learned how challenging it could be to balance dance, schoolwork, and other activities. Even during stressful seasons, dance remained something she could always come back to, a safe space and a constant in her life.

Throughout her high school career, Trinity also began preparing for her future by earning her CNA and PCT licenses. This fall, she will continue her education at Rhodes State College, where she plans to study Radiographic Imaging.

To the younger dancers, Trinity’s advice is to never give up on dance, even when life feels overwhelming. The long nights, hard classes, and stressful moments are all worth it in the end. Cherish every recital, every class, and every moment spent in the studio, because it goes by faster than you think.

Trinity would like to thank her teachers, teammates, friends, family, and God for supporting her throughout this journey. Dance will always be a part of who she is, and she will forever be grateful for the past 15 years.

Trinity, watching your journey over the past 15 years has been such a gift. We are so proud of the dancer you became and the beautiful young woman you are.Thank you for letting Cynergy be part of your story. You will always be part of our family.
