This Friday June 5th Beat The Heat Waiver.... this is new and is required of anyone under the age of 18 who would like to run side by side with the King County Sheriff as part of the Beat The Heat Segment of the event. The minor must initial on the left and the parent initial on the right. Please print, sign and bring with you or bring your parent.

There is another minor consent form for the entire event that you must also have signed and bring with you.

The PNWDRA's Carl Thorsett made a trip to Seattle to be on Kiro News Radio today with Charlie Harger. It was a quick bit on what we are doing with the Green River College and Cornwell Tools June 5th High School Drags.

It was really wonderful to see how supportive the crew there was of our goal to keep drag racing healthy and to support the surrounding community.

We had a special guest : David Lewis from Green River College Automotive Technology joining us. It will air tomorrow morning as part of the My Northwest segment. I had only 8 minutes but needed an hour!

We have totaled and charted the points for all classes from last weekends A Street Automotive Season Opener. We are taking time to double check all of the results before posting. Special thanks to Dennis Boley for helping us with this.

We are logging everyone's performance for points to start with and the cutoff to sign up for points will be the end of the day June 14th. We are allowing some time because this is a new program for many and we want anyone who wants to be a part of the action to do so.

It was a great start to the season and we are 100% looking forward to seeing you all back for our June 12th - 14th at the next A Street Automotive ET Racing Series Double Headder and Nostalgia Car Show and Drags and the NHRA Speed For All Wallys Saturday night!

The PNWDRA Saturday night NHRA Speed For All Nostalgia Drags and Car Show at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA

June 13th 3:00pm - 11:00pm. Following the conclusion of the days A Street Automotive ET Racing Series Event.

The race will have 6 categories that will feature the coveted NHRA Speed For All Wallys and Medallions!

-Street Machine 1989 and Older 11.60 and slower (Sportsman Rules)

-Street Rod 1989 – 1966 8.0 – 12.99 (Pro Rules)

-Hot Rod 1965 and older 12.99 – 8.0 (Pro Rules)

-Top Eliminator 1989 and Older 11.99 – 7.0 (Super Pro Rules)

-Stick Shift 1989 and Older 8.50 and slower (Pro rules)

-Open Comp (Dragster / Roadster / Altered) 1989 and Older 11.99 – 6.0 (Super Pro Rules)

NOTE: Open Comp: No rear engine dragsters allowed. Chassis can be newer than 1989 however the body needs to be modeled after a 1989 or older vehicle.

Tech Cards are $100 for all categories
Tech Cards for all racing categories will be $100. Pay at the event day of. You do NOT need to be a Member of the PNWDRA to participate in this event. It is open to anyone with a valid Drivers License. NHRA Membership is not required but highly recommended. https://member.nhra.com/

There will be $$ payouts and trophies for Winners and Runner Ups in all 6 Categories.

Nostalgia Car Show 10:00am - 3:00pm.

Be a part of our Nostalgia Car Show! Saturday June 13th from 10:00am - 3:00pm. Featuring trophies and prizes. 1989 and older vehicles. $20 car show registration includes driver admission. Add'l spectators $15

General spectator admission $15. Kids 10 and younger are free.

Open Cruise in / Saturday Night Party 3pm - 8pm.

Weekend Schedule:
-Friday Test N Tune June 12th from 4:00pm - 11:00pm.

-We will have our A Street Automotive Summit ET Racing Series event Saturday morning.

-The Nostalgia Drags Saturday evening.

-Then stay to race with us on Sunday again in our A Street Automotive Summit ET Racing Series on Sunday June 14th starting at 9:00am.
