3rd year Teams athlete Tommy Tate ('30) crushed one at the Top Tier All-State Games this past weekend

Tommy's committed whole-heartedly to the process since he first walked in our doors at 12u, rarely missing practice in 34 months of training. 7️⃣TH GRADER GOES 330 👀💪

Wesley Kostanich (13U, '31) sending one WAY over the 310 fence during league play this season, surprising everyone on the diamond (including himself!)

Measuring 5'3/135lb, Wesley isn't an extreme size outlier for 13 or a beneficiary of early puberty. Stacking months of age-appropriate strength and bat speed training just leads to outlier results

Our Director of Youth Baseball, Deven Morgan, added up what eight years of driving his son to train - just training, not games - actually came to. The comparisons stopped him cold.⁠

"37,000 miles? ... That's approximately one and a half times around the Earth. Or it's 6 to 7 round-trip drives across the United States... And this one is my favorite: it's about 16% of the way to the moon."⁠

That's 1,150 hours in the car over eight years - six months of a 40-hour work week, spent behind the wheel so a kid could keep getting better.⁠

🚶 WALK-OFF WINNER 👀

13U teams athlete Blake Brousseau drives one over the centerfielder for a walk-off!

Blake joined our teams program halfway through the 11U season in 2024, striking out in half of his plate appearances and finishing the year with zero hits across 10 games

He's spent the past two years fully dedicated to the process, rarely missing a practice and never shorting a rep. The results? A .429/.554/.633 slash line, +29.8 MPH Exit Velo, and +20 MPH on the mound

👨‍👦 DIFFERENT ATHLETES, DIFFERENT NEEDS 🔬

First year 12U athlete Avery Wilson has been GOING OFF, including hitting 4 homers in just 18 at-bats this season

He came to us very biologically advanced for his age, closer to our average 14-year-old in size and strength. The engine is there already, so what do we focus on to prepare him for HS ball?

Hitting conversations with Avery at practice recently have revolved around getting him to his above-average strength more often, with drills that incentivize better bat path and more consistent contact in the air. That combined with the ability to compare Avery to his past self and future peers with our test-retest system ensures he won't be the kid that peaks in middle school. We'd say his DL teams career is off to a good start!
