Here’s some glute bridge variations! Sticking to the same exercises could be a reason why you’re not seeing progression, feel “stuck”, or getting bored with your workouts. Trying new things at the gym keeps me motivated and excited to get better / stronger every day💪🏽🤩

Upper body strength check✔️

I definitely prefer a good lower body workout, but can’t neglect that upper body! It always gives me more motivation to incorporate muscle groups that I enjoy training (like core) on upper body days!

Starting off the week with a lower body lift!😼

If your goal is grow a bigger butt and all you’re
using is bands and body weight, that won’t cut it.

In order to gain muscle mass, you have to lift heavy weight. Bands and body weight are good if you’re looking for muscle activation, if you’re and inexperienced lifter or if you’re trying to make certain exercises more challenging, but once you have proper technique, it’s time to add some weight😜💪🏽

You can still incorporate bands and body weight in your workout, just don’t solely depend on them to grow your🍑!

“Tyra, how do you stay motivated to consistently workout?”

I constantly remind myself that I’m doing this for me. That if I don’t do it, nobody can do it for me. I have to love myself enough to push towards my goals and keep myself on track. Consistency is key because even on the days I felt like I wasn’t making progress or I ate not so healthy foods, I reflected on what I needed to do different and kept going!💪🏽It’s okay to fall down on your journey, just make sure you don’t stay down there too long.🙂

I realize that I’m blessed to be able to get up and move, so I want to utilize it and push myself past new limits through my workouts. Past injuries from basketball have reminded me how it feels to lose the ability and privilege to exercise and move around when I want. I never want to take anything I have for granted and that includes my athletic ability.
