Gearing up for the boys season!

Tough day of scoring at The Falls yesterday! Windy and brisk conditions made things challenging out there. Huge thanks to The Falls for getting these guys out on the course all summer!

One of our top players, **Carter Degraaf**, continues to impress with the progress he’s made over the summer. He shot an **83**, which easily could’ve been lower with a few cleaner shots around the greens. That said, watching him consistently launch **300+ yard drives** never gets old — I can honestly say I enjoy watching him outdrive me now!

Jameson Meendering, our talented sophomore, deserves congratulations on his outstanding postseason play. He led the Spartans in both postseason tournaments, the Conference Championship at Bowen Links and Regionals at the Mines, scoring an impressive 85 in both rounds.

I have really enjoyed this tight-knit group, even if they have unusual ways of expressing their friendship, nevertheless.

Congratulations to our Regional 5 taking on Mines tomorrow(Wednesday) Drew Dessellier(Sr), Carter Degraaf(SO), Jameson Meendering(SO), Gabe Meendering(SR), Lucas Jones(SR).

One final goodbye to our home course(in the form of a short range session), The Falls, thanks to the wonderful staff there and for the emphasis they put on youth golf. We are fortunate to have them as our home.

The boys wrapped up the regular season this week. Senior Drew and Sophomore Jameson got All-Conference Honorable Mentions. Drew will be attending GRCC this fall and is considering trying out for the golf team. Best of luck to all our seniors.
