Seasons end, legacies remain.
Can’t put into words how proud I am of this group of Newaygo athletes this season! The senior group that we had did such an amazing job being leaders on and off the track! The selflessness and sacrifice they displayed for their teammate and program will never be forgotten! We accomplished more than any group could have though of this season on both the girls and guys side. The Girls team established their dominance for years to come, and got a taste for real success on the state level! The boys side sent 6 kids to state which is remarkable based on how young our team was this year. The future is bright for both programs! Newaygo track is emerging and won’t be going anywhere for the time being! We qualified 5 relay teams and 7 individual events for state this year combined on the guys and girls side! Loved to watch all the memories our athletes made with each other this year, and that makes it all worth it!
