Good morning racers,

It’s race weekend!! I will share Veronica’s video regarding their weekend info. Tech card fee to be paid at the gate. The MWSC entry fee, which is $125.00, is to be paid to the MWSC Board members. It is worth noting that round money will start with the second round loser. Additionally, all paid members are entitled to one free crew member. If you are not a current member and wish to take advantage of this offer, you can submit a $100 cash payment in an envelope marked '2026 MWSC membership' with your name and car number to Veronica at the front gate.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Pat LaMont

When you think of MWSC, Pat LaMont is just one of those names that comes to mind right away. Pat himself was a multi-time race winner, 2X champion, and MWSC Hall of Fame Member.

Beyond the success on the track was his friendship. If Pat could help you, he would. If there was a part in his trailer that could fix your car, he was already grabbing it. If you were having trouble with your car, he was trying to find the problem.

Pat was also one of the most fun personalities in MWSC. After a race day, you could find “Captain Pat” in his toter mixing up a batch of his famous captain and cokes, surely to share with his friends and neighbors! Many great stories and memories stem from a circle of friends and family sharing a captain and coke in the LaMont Pit!

We at MWSC want to extend our deepest condolences and thoughts and prayers to the LaMont Family in this time of mourning.

Racers: This weekend we are at Cordova Dragway. Saturday gates open at 11am and racing starts at 1pm. Sunday gates at 8am and racing starts at 9am. We will have 1 time run and a qualifier on Saturday and just the qualifier on Sunday. The track is open for test & tune Friday 6pm to 10pm. Have a great weekend of racing!
