Congrats to SVHS and SURGE senior Julissa Vargas on setting a new career high in scoring with 24pts on her way to earning an All Tournament selection at the Seguin Varsity tournament this weekend! Recently she also tied the school’s single game assist record. This Carthage College commit is having a stellar senior year for SV!

Closed out our final AAU season with these girls tonight by celebrating their accomplishments with an awards ceremony. Then the parents laced em up l, put on the practice pinnies, and played each other while the girls coached and reffed the game. Had some great laughs and friendly competition! What a great year with a great group of girls and parents. This team truly will always be a FAMILY!

Congrats to NBHS senior Michelle Moore for making the Top performers list at the 4th Annual preseason Basketball & Referee Showcase! She is primed for a big senior year, after recovering from ACL surgery two seasons in a row. She had a great summer for us, hitting a game winner, and playing elite defense all summer long!

Perfect ending to our last season! Our Varsity girls went out to Corpus Christi this weekend and came home as Crystal City Classic Champs after going 3-0 with 3 double digit wins vs Aransas Pass HS, Somerset Hoopstarz, and Premier DBK. Once again, no stars: everyone contributed in these wins. Proud of the girls and the successful season they had. We had a .500 or better record in every tournament we played in this year, and got better and better as the season progressed. Now time to sit back and watch them shine as seniors in school ball!
