Three Reformers. And we’re excited about what that makes possible.

Adding a third reformer gives us more options for adding small group sessions - with the same careful, attentive, teaching we’re known for.

A group that is small enough to teach you. Not a room full of people to keep up with.

We teach Pilates the way it was designed to be taught on the original equipment designed for the work.

Desi and I both believe that being a good teacher means never really stopping being a student.

Desi continues to invest in her teaching through her time with Leslie Logan’s Elevate program, and I’ve continued my own education through Power Pilates, traveling to Chicago and New York City to study and refine my practice.

Different paths, same commitment: keep learning, keep refining, and keep getting better at what we do for our clients.

And continuing education isn’t just a commitment of time. It’s a financial commitment, too. Courses, mentorship, travel, workshops and training all add up. It’s part of what goes into becoming—and remaining—a well-trained Pilates teacher.

Because good teaching doesn’t happen by accident. It takes time, curiosity, practice, and a willingness to keep investing in yourself as a teacher.

10 people. 9 towers. And no one got sent home. 👏

Today we had one extra person show up for our Tower class. Rather than turn someone away, I pulled out the Baby Arm Chair and Wunda Chair and we made it work.

And honestly, this is one of the things I love about having comprehensive Pilates training, a full studio of equipment, and mentors who have taught me how to think beyond simply following a lesson plan.

You never know what will happen in a class. Being well trained means knowing how to adapt while still giving every person a thoughtful, purposeful workout.

So today, 10 people took Tower.

9 towers.
10 people.
Problem solved. 😊

One of the best things about teaching Pilates is the connections we make with other people.

Saturday’s class was especially nice because one of my long time students who has moved away came back for class while visiting. Having her back in the studio was such a treat!

I am thankful for the people who show up, trust me with their practice, and give me the opportunity to keep honing my craft.
