Sip & stroll is tomorrow!

We will be starting at at 9AM and then strolling around the harbor together!

If you plan on grabbing a beverage before the walk, I highly encourage you to arrive a little early so you have time to order and the baristas have time to make all of our drinks before we head out. ☕️

After the walk, I plan on sticking around to grab some food because their food is so good 🤤 and I would LOVE for some other mamas to stay and hang out too!

🚗 Parking: If street parking isn't your thing, there is a small parking lot close to Anna's at the corner of 6th Ave & 54th St.

We are SO excited! We are currently at capacity, but we do have a waitlist going!

And for those who are currently signed up, if something comes up and you're no longer able to make it, we completely understand! We know life with kids can be unpredictable! September storytime is September 21st at 10AM!

This session’s theme is Apples! 🍎🍏 We’ll be reading Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn and Apple Farmer Annie, then creating our own paper apple crafts to take home!

Our crafts are designed with purpose, helping children practice fine motor skills while encouraging creativity and self-expression. Activities can be easily adapted for different ages, so every child can participate at their own level. Younger children may need a bit more caregiver support along the way.

Come join us for stories, music, movement, creativity, and some apple-themed fun!

We will be meeting at Anna's On The Lake then walking around the harbor for a stroll.

Mama Walks is a relaxed weekly meet-up where moms can gather, walk together, and build connections along the way. Some moms come for the movement, some come for the conversation, and some just need a reason to leave the house for a bit—and all of those reasons are good enough.

Whether you're pushing a stroller, chasing a toddler, babywearing, or just looking for other moms to talk with, we'd love to have you join us. Come enjoy some fresh air, movement, and meaningful conversation with other local moms.

We are trying to soak up every last bit of summer before the kids head back to school next week! ☀️

Which also means… I’m a little behind on getting September’s schedule out. 🙈

I also want to give you a little heads up that I’ll be slowing things down just a bit with storytimes and Mama Walks in September Don’t worry there will still be some in September! After a crazy busy summer, I’m looking forward to having a little breathing room and giving myself some time to adjust to our new routine once school starts.

And honestly, I have SO many ideas for Kenosha Play Dates and so many different things I’d love to offer our families. I want to use some of this slower time to work on the website, get some things organized behind the scenes, and see if I can make some of these fun ideas actually happen!

Kenosha Play Dates isn’t going anywhere! ❤️ I’m still so excited to keep planning and creating fun opportunities for families in the Kenosha area to get together, make connections, and build community.
So if September looks a little quieter around here, just know it’s intentional. Sometimes we need to slow down a bit, regroup, and make room for what’s coming next. 🫶

We are SO excited for the Mama Walk & Storytime at DSCO Coffee this morning! ☀️❤️

A quick little parking update since we have a BIG group joining us today!

📍 If you can, please park in DSCO’s grass parking lot. We’ll have cars parked there to help you know where to go. We just want to make parking as easy as possible with all of our families joining us!

And because the weather is looking good, we’re taking storytime OUTSIDE! 🥳☀️

Feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on while we read, sing, move, and play.

AND… doing storytime outside means we have enough room for the PARACHUTE! 🪂🥳🥳

Can’t wait to see everyone this morning! 💕

There’s just something about getting a bunch of moms together—whether they know each other already or are meeting for the very first time. ❤️

There’s this overwhelming feeling of self that comes back. Like, for a few hours, you get to remember what it feels like to just be you… you know, before hearing mom a million times a day 🤣

We all love our kids more than life itself, but it feels SO good to relax, laugh, have a conversation without being interrupted, and just be yourself for a few hours.

And to all the mommas who joined Saturday—thank you. Thank you for putting yourselves out there, being so much fun, and just going for it. So many of you had never met before, yet you showed up, connected, laughed, and had an absolute blast together. That is exactly what these nights are all about. 🥹❤️

Moms’ Night Out holds such a special place in my heart because I know I need these nights just as much as you guys do. There’s something really special about watching moms show up, step outside their comfort zone, and leave feeling lighter—and sometimes even with a new friend. 🫶

I’m still working on getting our next Moms’ Night Out planned, so keep an eye out because another one is coming!

Until then… go do something for YOU, mama. You deserve it. ❤️
