Meet Coach Anderson!
Coach Jordan Anderson is a Kamiakin graduate, where he took 3rd place at state his junior and senior years. He then wrestled for North Idaho College on a team that took 2nd at the NJCAA National Tournament. He then transferred to EWU to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Education. Since then, he has earned a Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University. He currently is an English Teacher and the Head Wrestling Coach at KaHS, and with Coach Sligar, serves as head wrestling coach for our Braves Wrestling Club.
In his combined 15 years of coaching wrestling at Kamiakin and Chiawana, he has mentored 15 state champions and over 50 state placers. He has lead 5 teams at Kamiakin to top-10 state placings, and was instrumental in helping lead Chiawana to three state titles in his time serving on the CHS staff. He has garnered multiple MCC Coach of the Year honors, and in 2025, he was named the Wiaa 4a Washington State Coach of the year.
His greatest accomplishment to date, however, is marrying his wife, Kaylee, who holds an Elementary Ed Degree from WSU. They are proud parents of two sons: Cade and Cole.
While simultaneously raising these three boys and working as a 1st grade teacher at Ridge View Elementary School, Mrs. Anderson also serves as team manager for our Braves Wrestling Club!
