Rachael’s Horse Camp offers one-on-one, one-hour riding lessons!

Our lessons are designed for all ages from toddlers to elders. Because it’s never too early or too late to enjoy horses and learn something new. ❤️🐎

Each lesson focuses on building lasting relationships with our horse companions while learning the skill and art of riding. We teach more than just getting in the saddle. We focus on horsemanship, confidence, safety, communication, and connection.

If you’ve ever wanted to truly learn how to ride a horse and develop real horsemanship skills, this is for you!

🐴❤️ Horse Camp wrapped up with LOTS of fun! ❤️🐴

We painted the horses while learning the different parts of the horse, groomed, bathed, fed, and of course — rode!

We laughed, smiled, made memories, and had gallops of fun! 🐎☀️

Thank you to all of our amazing campers for making Camp 1 so special. We can’t wait to do it all again!

🐴 First week of Horse Camp is complete! ☀️💛

What an amazing first week we had at horse camp!

A huge thank you to our special guest Wesley Poole, who demonstrated farrier work for the campers. We learned about the tools a farrier uses and learned the different parts of the horse’s hoof. 🐎🛠️

Throughout camp, we focused on horse safety, spent time riding horses, and learned how to properly groom and care for them. With the hot weather, we made sure our horses stayed cool with baths and of course, the campers cooled off too with popsicles! 🍦☀️💦

Thank you to everyone who came and made this week so much fun. We loved seeing all the smiles, learning, and confidence grow each day. Can’t wait for the next week of camp! ❤️🐴

🐴☀️ Today is the day for Horse Camp! ☀️🐴

It’s going to be a warm one today, so we’ll be taking extra precautions to keep everyone safe, comfortable, and having fun!

We can’t wait to see all of our cowgirls and cowboys at 5:00 PM. Please make sure campers arrive dressed appropriately for the weather and activities:

✅ Closed-toe shoes (required)
✅ Comfortable clothes for riding and outdoor activities
✅ Water bottle
✅ Positive attitude and ready for fun!

We’ll have plenty of water breaks and will be monitoring everyone closely throughout the evening.

Hello everyone! 🐴💜

I realized we have been doing horse camp for 4 years now, so I thought it was time to reintroduce myself!

My name is Rachael Bowles. I am a momma to a sweet 5 year old little boy named Kirk and a baby girl named Kate who is now one month old. Being a mom and sharing my love for horses are two of my greatest joys in life.

I am also a full-time 911 telecommunicator proudly serving Dunklin County. Helping and serving others has always been a huge part of who I am, both in emergency communications and through horses.

I started Rachael’s Horse Camp as a part-time passion project to share my love for horses with our community. Every lesson, camp, and bit of support goes directly back into caring for the horses. They work very hard for their cookies, apples, and treats. But they truly love the attention and connection they get from everyone who visits.

These horses are more than just horses to us. They are amazing teachers, therapeutic companions, and patient partners that help build confidence, responsibility, and friendships.

I offer:

🐎 Horse camps

We are not your typical pony ride experience. We don’t just walk in circles. We teach horse care, safety, confidence, and real riding skills.

🐴 Rachael’s Horse Camp 🐴

Be watching for our FIRST horse camp of the year to be posted! I’ve received several messages already, and we are planning for our first camp toward the end of June.

We always try to schedule around local activities so everyone has a chance to join in the fun! If you know obligations let me know! The camp will be usual time 5-7p!

Spots will be limited, and I’ll be taking deposits soon, so keep an eye out for the official dates and details coming very soon! 🤎
