Have you ever perceived something as being really hard or as something that you could never do, but then when you tried it found that it wasn't quite so bad?
My list is all over the place and quite extensive and includes things like...
📣speaking in front of thousands of people (after I did I was so fired up and couldn’t wait to do it again)
🏋🏻♀️working out in the weight room at the gym (I was so intimidated but surprised at how helpful all the guys were),
🥗substituting a side salad instead of french fries (not all the time but when I do it's not the end of the world),
🏃🏻♀️running a 10 miler on the beach (well...that was really bad),
🙅🏻♀️saying no to something you didn't want to do without worrying about hurting someone's feelings (I still take a deep breath on this one and count 5-4-3-2-1),
🙀walking away after 25 years from the only career I ever knew to pursue my passion of helping others to live their very best lives (people thought I was a bit crazy and having a midlife crisis)...
What I have found is that when you conquer that inner voice that is trying to keep you comfortable and safe, and you are willing to take risks, and you step out of your comfort zone into the discomfort of uncertainty... you will reap the biggest rewards!
