Great news for the development of the planned velodrome with Velodrome Development Foundation in The City of Coatesville!

IDG Development purchased a 24-acre parcel from Coatesville to make way for the construction of the National Sports & Events Center.

GET READY 🏃‍♂️ IT'S RACE WEEK! 🏃‍♀️

🏅 This year, our elites have the chance to earn a $5000 bonus for setting a new Pennsylvania One Mile State Record in either the Women's (4:23.49) or Men's (3:51.06) mile. With a talented group of professional runners aiming to break these records, it's going to be an exciting race. The women's record, held by Mary Slaney, has stood since 1979, while the men's record was recently set by Yared Nuguse, an Olympic finalist in the 1500m, at the Penn Relays in April.

💰 In total, our elites are competing for over $18k in prize money and bonuses, including in the Elite 800m and 600m races.

👟 A major highlight is our Citizen's races, open to everyone. Last year, we hosted 10 Citizen's Heats. When you register, just enter a seed time, and you'll be matched with runners of similar ability. It's a fantastic opportunity to test yourself in the mile and then enjoy watching some incredibly fast races. There's also a 400m Run for the younger kids, so bring the whole family. It's a lot of fun!

Unionville-Chadds Ford School DistrictAlumnus Justin Best earned Olympic gold this yesterday during the Men's Rowing Four! This is the first time since 1960 that Team USA has won this event. Congratulations to Justin and the entire Men's Rowing Four for bringing home the gold medal! 🥇
